Volleyball Recap: Harvey Takes a Loss + How To Watch

After flying high against Bottineau last Tuesday, Harvey came back down to earth. The Hornets fell just short of the Devils Lake Firebirds by a score of 3-2 on Monday. The Hornets were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Firebirds earlier this season, when they won 3-2.

Harvey actually scored more points across those five sets (101-96), but sadly they still had to settle for second. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 13-25, 25-20, 18-25, 25-18, 15-13.

Harvey's defeat dropped their record down to 11-5-1. As for Devils Lake, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-11-2 record this season.

Harvey will take on Rugby at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Hornets are facing the Panthers at the right time seeing as the Panthers are stuck on a six-game losing streak. Devils Lake does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
