Indianola had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 3.7 runs) and they went ahead and made it four on Monday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Lincoln Railsplitters an 11-0 shutout. Considering the Indians have won 11 matchups by more than five runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Indianola pushed their record up to 29-5 with the win, which was their 12th straight on the road. The road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.6 runs over those games. As for Lincoln, their loss dropped their record down to 2-15.

Indianola didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 12-1 win against Creston on the 8th. As for Lincoln, they will face off against Ames on Friday.
