Hyndman Charter School suffers fourth straight loss on the road

The Hyndman Charter School Hornets's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Wednesday after their fifth straight loss. They took a serious blow against Shanksville Stonycreek, falling 48-17. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Hyndman Charter School has scored all season.

Shanksville Stonycreek's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Christian Musser, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and 12 rebounds. Musser is absolutely dominating the steal category: he's posted at least two every time he's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Grant Boozer, who scored seven points along with six rebounds and six steals.

Hyndman Charter School bumped their record down to 1-5 with that loss, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 26.5 points per game. As for Shanksville Stonycreek, their victory bumped their record up to 6-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hyndman Charter School will take on Turkeyfoot Valley Area at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Shanksville Stonycreek, they will look to defend their home court on Monday against Rockwood at 7:00 p.m.
