Winslow has gone 8-2 against Holbrook recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Bulldogs will head out on the road to challenge the Roadrunners at 2:00 p.m. Winslow has given up an average of 8.3 runs per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Winslow's last matchup with Round Valley could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's match on Monday. The Bulldogs lost 22-4 to the Elks. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Rylie Sharp and Cassius Tsosie stepped up to the plate in a big way. Sharp went 1-for-2 with one home run and two RBI, while Tsosie went 1-for-2 with one home run and two RBI.

Meanwhile, Holbrook was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They fell 17-14 to Blue Ridge. Roadrunners fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team's lost against the Yellow Jackets since on Tuesday.

Angelica Uranga made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and got on base in four of her six plate appearances with three runs, one triple, and two RBI. That triple was her first of the season. The team also got some help courtesy of Alexis Young, who scored two runs while getting on base in all five of her plate appearances.

Winslow's defeat dropped their record down to 14-11. As for Holbrook, they now have a losing record of 11-12.

Holbrook's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Winslow has been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 11 hits per game. It's a different story for Holbrook, though, as they've been averaging 9.3 hits. Given Winslow's sizable advantage in that area, the Roadrunners will need to find a way to close that gap.

Winslow took their victory against Holbrook in their previous meeting back in March by a conclusive 9-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bulldogs since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
