Volleyball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Hailey Rose Mcilvoy and Hailey Willis Lead Washington County to Victory + How To Watch

Washington County won the last time they faced Anderson County and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Commanders walked away with a 3-1 win over the Bearcats.

The victory didn't come easy: Anderson County scored at least 18 points in every set. The final score came out to 25-20, 25-23, 21-25, 25-18.

Washington County was led to victory by Hailey Willis and Hailey Rose Mcilvoy. Willis had 18 digs, while Mcilvoy had seven kills and two aces. Those two aces gave Mcilvoy a new career-high.

They weren't the only good servers: Washington County was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 12 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in five consecutive contests.

Washington County's win ended a three-match drought on the road and puts them at 12-15. As for Anderson County, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-18.

Washington County wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-1 victory against North Hardin on the 15th. Anderson County does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
