Volleyball Recap: Eastern Greene Comes Up Short

Eastern Greene lost against Sullivan back in August of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Thunderbirds took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Golden Arrows. The Thunderbirds have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

While Eastern Greene had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 19 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-21.

Eastern Greene's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Sullivan, they pushed their record up to 5-1 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Coming up, Eastern Greene will face off against White River Valley at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Sullivan has already played their next game (against Eminence), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
