Saint Ignatius College Prep lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Resurrection, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Friday's game. The Wolfpack put the hurt on the Bandits with a sharp 15-5 victory on Friday. The result was nothing new for the Wolfpack, who have now won nine matchups by ten runs or more so far this season.

Saint Ignatius College Prep let Molly Milanowski and Eliana Romero run wild. Milanowski got on base in all five of her plate appearances with three runs and two RBI, while Romero went 3-for-5 with three RBI, two runs, and two doubles. That's the most RBI Milanowski has posted since back in April. The team also got some help courtesy of Rachael Dombrowski, who got on base in two of her four plate appearances with two stolen bases and two runs.

Saint Ignatius College Prep always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .579. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Resurrection only posted an OBP of .387.

The win made it two in a row for Saint Ignatius College Prep and bumps their season record up to 13-17. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 7 runs in those games. As for Resurrection, their loss dropped their record down to 11-11.

Saint Ignatius College Prep wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 10-1 win against Lincoln Park on the 19th. Resurrection has also already played their next game (against Palatine), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
