Volleyball Recap: Troy Comes Up Short

Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Troy couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Butte County Pirates on Saturday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Pirates this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 on Saturday.

Troy's defeat dropped their record down to 30-6. As for Butte County, the win was the 18th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 30-2.

As of now, neither Troy nor the Pirates have any future games scheduled.
