Basketball Recap: Calvary Christian Now 3-1 over Last Four Games

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against St. Anne-Pacelli, Calvary Christian was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They walked away with a 54-43 win over the Westfield School Hornets.

Tj Benson was his usual excellent self, going 7 for 11 on his way to 16 points in addition to eight assists and five steals. The matchup was his third in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Dylan Hosten, who went 6 for 14 on his way to 12 points and five steals.

Calvary Christian is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 7-9 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.5 points per game. As for Westfield School, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-8 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Calvary Christian will host Wiregrass at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Westfield School, they will square off against St. Anne-Pacelli at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
