Crestview hadn't done well against Norwalk recently (they were 1-7 in their previous eight matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Cougars came out on top in a nail-biter against the Truckers, sneaking past 2-0. The Cougars have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Truckers, too.

The result came thanks to Gavin Barker's shutout, as he gave up just two hits and racked up six Ks.

At the plate, Crestview's win was truly a team effort as two different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Tyson Ringler, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

The victory got Crestview back to even at 1-1.

Crestview didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 12-2 defeat against Hillsdale on the 4th. Norwalk has also already played their next match (against Shelby), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
