Baseball Recap: Plant Picks Up Fifth Consecutive Victory

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Plant had no problem doing just that on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged out the Armwood Hawks 8-6. The win was nothing new for the Panthers as they're now sitting on five straight.

URBAN ELLIS was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one home run and three RBI. DESAN DECAMP was another key player, scoring a run while going 2-for-2.

ELLIS wasn't the only one making solid contact: Plant kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. That's the most hits they've posted since back in February of 2024.

Plant's victory bumped their record up to 19-6. As for Armwood, with the loss, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 8-16.

Coming up, Plant will take on Steinbrenner at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Panthers 2.1, the Warriors 3.6) so any runs scored will be well earned. Armwood does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
