Lutheran waltzed into their matchup on Saturday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They had just enough and edged out the Cheyenne Mountain Hawks 11-9. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 5-4 on Tuesday.

Kellan Shearer was incredible, getting on base in four of his five plate appearances with two runs, one double, and one RBI. That's the most runs he has posted since back in March. Tyce Macnamara was another key player, going 2-for-5 with two RBI and one run.

Lutheran's record now sits at 15-6. As for Cheyenne Mountain, their defeat ended a six-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 10-7.

Lutheran has already played their next contest, a 7-1 victory against Lewis-Palmer on the 7th. As for Cheyenne Mountain, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 6-4 win against Vista Ridge on the 4th.
