While Freeport's win against Lincoln Academy wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Falcons narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Eagles 37-34. The Falcons haven't had any issues with the Eagles recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

The victory got Freeport back to even at 7-7. As for Lincoln Academy, they dropped their record down to 3-11 with the loss, which was their third straight at home.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Freeport will square off against rival Fryeburg at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Lincoln Academy is set to take on their familiar foe Medomak Valley at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
