Churchill strolled into their game on Friday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They came out on top against the Damascus Hornets by a score of 3-1.

Churchill got the W, but it wasn't easy, at least in the third set. The final score came out to 25-12, 25-16, 30-32, 25-12.

Churchill found their leader in sophomore Michael Rathnam, who had five digs and one block. Kaleb MBaitoloum also deserves some recognition as he served his first ace of the season.

Churchill's win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-0. As for Damascus, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Churchill has already played their next matchup, a 3-1 victory against Wootton on the 28th. Damascus has also already played their next contest (against Watkins Mill), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
