Volleyball Recap: Kylee Prough Leads a Balanced Effort to Beat Varsity Opponent

There's no place like home for Reimer Road Baptist Christian, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over Varsity Opponent on Tuesday. This was a revenge game for the Golden Eagles: when they faced off against Varsity Opponent last Thursday, they had to take a 3-1 loss.

The match finished with set scores of 25-7, 25-7, 25-20.

Reimer Road Baptist Christian's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Kylee Prough led the charge by getting nine aces. Katelyn Bounce was another key player, getting seven kills and five aces.

They weren't the only good servers: Reimer Road Baptist Christian was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 29 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least six aces in seven consecutive contests.

The victory got Reimer Road Baptist Christian back to even at 7-7.
