S & S Consolidated put their dominant pitchers on display in the team's sixth consecutive shutout on Friday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Gunter Tigers a 5-0 shutout. That's more bragging rights for the Rams, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

S & S Consolidated's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-0. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.0 runs on average over those games. As for Gunter, they moved to 15-8 with that loss, which also ended their six-game winning streak.
