Linfield Christian put another one in the bag on Monday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past the Murrieta Valley Nighthawks 41-0. Given the Lions' advantage in MaxPreps' California football rankings (they are ranked seventh, while the Nighthawks are ranked 281st) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Linfield Christian didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off four passes before the game was over. Lailah Sikta led the group effort, picking up two of those interceptions all by herself.

Linfield Christian's victory bumped their record up to 6-0. As for Murrieta Valley, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Coming up, Linfield Christian is taking a road trip to square off against San Juan Hills at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Murrieta Valley, they will host Norco at 5:00 p.m. on September 3.
