Soccer Recap: Danbury Comes Up Short

Danbury was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Ridgefield Tigers. If Danbury were looking for revenge after losing 2-0 to Ridgefield when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Danbury now has a losing record of 4-5-1. As for Ridgefield, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-3.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Danbury will square off against rival Darien at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Ridgefield is set to take on their familiar foe Greenwich at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
