After only two runs in their last game, Arroyo made sure to put some runs up on the board against Flintridge Prep on Saturday. The Knights walked away with an 11-8 victory over the Wolves. With that win, the Knights brought their scoring average up to 6.8 runs per game.

Raylene Inostroz was a standout: she went 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, two runs, and two doubles. The team also got some help courtesy of Melanie Borgen, who went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, three runs, and one triple.

Arroyo's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Flintridge Prep, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-3.

Coming up, Arroyo will challenge Edgewood at 3:15 p.m. on Monday. The Lions have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 15.4 runs per game on average), something the Knights will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Flintridge Prep, they will welcome Flintridge Sacred Heart at 3:45 p.m. on Wednesday.
