Basketball Game Preview: Holyoke Dragons vs. Custer County Bobcats

The Holyoke Dragons will square off against the Custer County Bobcats on Friday. Holyoke is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 51.6 points per game this season.

Holyoke saw some tournament action on Saturday. They took a 48-44 hit to the loss column at the hands of Limon. The Dragons haven't had much luck with the Badgers recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Holyoke might have lost, but man, Reid Sprague was a machine: he almost dropped a double-double with 23 points and nine rebounds. Sprague's big performance that afternoon made it nine games in a row in which he has scored at least 17 points. Another player making a difference was Mason Sprague, who posted eight points.

Meanwhile, Custer County had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They simply couldn't be stopped on Saturday as they easily beat Centennial 59-25.

Holyoke's defeat dropped their record down to 12-11. As for Custer County, their victory bumped their record up to 14-9.
