Flag Football Recap: Fullerton Snags Tenth Win in Last 11 Games

Fullerton won the last time they faced Westminster and things went their way on Monday too. The Indians took down the Lions 20-6. Given the Indians' advantage in MaxPreps' California flag football rankings (they are ranked 71st, while the Lions are ranked 363rd) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Fullerton has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-7 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 9.7 points on average over those games. As for Westminster, the loss snapped their winning streak at five games and leaves them with a 7-12 record.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Fullerton will face off against rival Segerstrom at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Westminster is set to square off against their familiar foe Valencia at 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
