Soccer Recap: Rockwall Comes Up Short

If Rockwall was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of North Forney last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Rockwall Yellowjackets fell just short of the Tyler Legacy Raiders by a score of 3-2 on Wednesday. The Yellowjackets were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Raiders earlier this season, when they won 2-0.

Rockwall now has a losing record of 8-9. As for Tyler Legacy, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record this season.

Rockwall and Tyler Legacy should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings. Rockwall will challenge Royse City at 7:15 p.m. on Friday up 264 places (107 vs. 371). Similarly, Tyler Legacy (ranked 40th) will meet Rockwall-Heath (ranked 169th) at 7:15 p.m. on Friday.
