New Bern Christian Academy lost against the Eastern Christian HomeSchool Trailblazers back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. New Bern Christian Academy fell 33-23 to the Trailblazers. New Bern Christian Academy has not had much luck with the Trailblazers recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.

Despite the defeat, New Bern Christian Academy had strong showings from Alli Anderson, who scored seven points along with eight rebounds and two steals, and Faith Huffman, who scored nine points along with two steals. That was a full 39.1% of New Bern Christian Academy's points, marking the third time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points.

New Bern Christian Academy has traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 14-6 record this season. As for Eastern Christian HomeSchool, the victory was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 24-3.

New Bern Christian Academy won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against the Heat at 5:00 p.m. on January 30th. Hopefully Liberty Christian Academy focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 33 last Tuesday. Eastern Christian HomeSchool will be staying on the road on Thursday to face off against the Patriots at 6:00 p.m. on February 1st. The timing isn't great for Faith Christian: they have been struggling with three straight losses at home, while the Trailblazers have snatched up five consecutive wins on the road.
