Soccer Recap: Wellsville Takes a Loss

The Wellsville Lions came up short against the Perry Yellowjackets on Saturday, falling 6-1.

Wellsville's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Perry, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.

Looking ahead, Wellsville will square off against Genesee Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Genesee Valley will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something Wellsville surely won't give up without a fight. As for Perry, they will face off against Keshequa at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Keshequa's last three contests have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
