Summit Country Day had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Wyoming Cowboys on Saturday. That's more bragging rights for the Silver Knights, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Summit Country Day never let Wyoming on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-23, 25-18.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Summit Country Day will face off against Cincinnati Hills Christian Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. This will be the Silver Knights' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Wyoming, they will venture away from home to take on Monroe at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
