Laurel had already won 12 in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 23.3 points) and they went ahead and made it 13 on Friday. They blew past the East Central Hornets 63-14. The Golden Tornadoes have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 12 games by 20 points or more this season.

Kayllis Walker continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 17 points and 12 boards. She has been hot, having posted eight or more rebounds the last eight times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Karly Hunter, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 11 rebounds.

Laurel smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 28 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least ten offensive rebounds in 23 consecutive matchups dating back to last season.

Laurel's victory was their 15th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 18-1. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 32.3 points. As for East Central, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-5.
