Basketball Recap: Copenhagen Falls Despite Big Games from Logan Jordal and Jacob Lawlee

Copenhagen and Sackets Harbor Central squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but Copenhagen had to settle for second. They came up short against the Sackets Harbor Central Patriots, falling 59-34. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Patriots this season, with their most recent defeat being a 49-35 loss two weeks ago.

Jacob Lawlee and Logan Jordal certainly did their best on Wednesday to avoid the loss. Lawlee posted ten points, while Jordal had eight points. Lawlee is also on a roll when it comes to field goal percentage, as he's posted one of at least 50% in the last three games he's played.

Copenhagen's defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 10-12. As for Sackets Harbor Central, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 17-4.
