Softball Recap: Hannah-Pamplico Takes a Loss

Hannah-Pamplico scored the most runs they've had this season on Monday, but it wasn't enough. They fell just short of the East Clarendon Wolverines by a score of 8-7. The Raiders were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Wolverines apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Meredith Stone and Khloe Jones stepped up to the plate in a big way. Stone scored a run while getting on base in three of her five plate appearances, while Jones scored a run while getting on base in four of her five plate appearances. The team also got some help courtesy of London Lee, who got on base in four of her five plate appearances with one RBI.

Even though they lost, Hannah-Pamplico always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .523. The last time their OBP was this high was back in May of 2024.

Hannah-Pamplico's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for East Clarendon, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-1.

Looking ahead, Hannah-Pamplico will host Latta at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for East Clarendon, they will challenge Manning at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
