Baseball Recap: Caroline Takes a Loss

Friday just wasn't the day for Caroline's offense. They fell 4-0 to the Godwin Eagles on Friday.

Caroline saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jackson Thomas, who went 1-for-3 with one double. That double was Thomas' first of the season.

Caroline has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season. As for Godwin, their victory was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 8-2.

Coming up, Caroline will challenge Culpeper County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Godwin, they will face off against Glen Allen at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
