Brookfield East came tearing into Tuesday's game with six straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 29.8 points) and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 69-56 victory over the Germantown Warhawks. That's more bragging rights for the Spartans, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

When it comes to explaining why Germantown lost, don't look at Danica Gosz. Despite the final result, she posted 22 points in addition to six rebounds and three steals. The contest was Gosz's fourth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Madeline Jakusz, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 12 rebounds.

Brookfield East's win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-2. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 69.6 points per game. As for Germantown, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-7.
