Baseball Recap: Mountain Ridge Takes a Loss

Mountain Ridge fell victim to Hamilton and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They fell just short of the Hamilton Huskies by a score of 2-0. Having soared to a lofty 12 runs in the game before, the Mountain Lions' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Matthew Licardi was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he tossed six innings while giving up just two earned runs off six hits.

Mountain Ridge's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Hamilton, the win keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.
