Football Recap: Ray/Powers Lake Beats Bishop Ryan for Their Third Straight Win

Ray/Powers Lake proved they can win big last Friday (they won by 50) and on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Bishop Ryan Lions 30-28. The victory was nothing new for Ray/Powers Lake as they're now sitting on three straight.

Ray/Powers Lake's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Bishop Ryan, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Ray/Powers Lake will take on rival Tioga on Friday. Meanwhile, Bishop Ryan is set to square off against their familiar foe Stanley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
