Basketball Recap: River Falls Now 6-2 over Last Eight Games

River Falls posted their closest win since January 26, 2024 on Tuesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Rice Lake Warriors, sneaking past 61-59. This was payback for the Wildcats, who suffered a 47-39 loss the last time these two teams met.

River Falls has also been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.6 points per game. As for Rice Lake, the defeat snapped their winning streak at eight games and leaves them with a 8-1 record.

River Falls will face off against Menomonie at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Rice Lake does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
