Volleyball Recap: East Leopards vs. West Panthers
East was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell just short of the West Panthers by a score of 3-2. The Leopards were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Panthers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September.
East actually scored more points across those five sets (99-97), but sadly they still had to settle for second. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 17-25, 15-25, 25-14, 25-23, 15-12.
East's loss dropped their record down to 8-6. As for West, they pushed their record up to 9-11 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.
East wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Manti on the 4th. As for West, they will play host again on Tuesday to welcome Olympus, where the match is scheduled at 6:30 p.m.
