Basketball Recap: McGregor Takes a Loss

McGregor played a tough matchup on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting the China Spring Cougars an easy 51-27 victory. The Bulldogs haven't had much luck with the Cougars recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

McGregor's defeat dropped their record down to 4-14. As for China Spring, the win snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 10-8 record.

Coming up, after both having extra time off, McGregor and Central Texas Christian will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 2:00 p.m. on the 30th. China Spring and University will round out the year against one another at 11:20 a.m. on the 29th.
