Soccer Game Preview: Jordan vs. Paramount

The Jordan Panthers are taking a road trip to take on the Paramount Pirates at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Jordan's offense. They came up short against Norwalk on Tuesday, falling 4-0. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as Jordan came into the contest with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 286th, while Norwalk are ranked 584th).

Meanwhile, Paramount waltzed into their matchup on Monday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They never let the Aztec Eagles get on the board and left with a 4-0 win. Considering Paramount have won four matches by more than three goals this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Paramount's victory bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Jordan, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 3-1-1.
