Basketball Game Preview: Ridgeview Wolfpack vs. Central Wise Warriors

Ridgeview is 1-9 against Central Wise since December of 2022 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Saturday. The Ridgeview Wolfpack will square off against the Central Wise Warriors at 8:00 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Ridgeview is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Thursday. They breezed past Graham to the tune of 63-33. The victory was familiar territory for the Wolfpack, who have now won five matches in a row.

Meanwhile, Central Wise got the win against Gate City on Thursday by a conclusive 64-42. The win continues a trend for the Warriors in their matchups with the Blue Devils: they've now won eight in a row.

Ridgeview's victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 16-5. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 26.2 points. As for Central Wise, their win bumped their record up to 24-3.

Ridgeview came up short against Central Wise when the teams last played back in February, falling 45-41. Can Ridgeview avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
