Volleyball Recap: Clarkton Wins Going Away Against Delta

Clarkton won the last time they faced Delta and things went their way on Friday too. The Reindeer were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Chargers.

While Clarkton might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Delta scored at least 20 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 27-25, 25-20, 25-22.

Lyla Hernandez paced Clarkton's offense, picking up ten kills. Hernandez got some help from Arissa Vincent and her 20 assists. Hernandez was also solid from the service line: she led the team with six aces.

The win got Clarkton back to even at 1-1.

Clarkton has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Cooter on the 2nd. As for Delta, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Gideon at 6:00 p.m. on the 16th.
