Softball Recap: Northeast Bradford Wins Going Away Against Sayre

Northeast Bradford won the last time they faced Sayre and things went their way on Thursday too. Northeast Bradford blew past Sayre 11-1. The Panthers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four matchups by ten runs or more this season.

Hannah Berger was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing two bases while going 3-for-3. Those two stolen bases gave her a new career-high. Kiarra Delancey was another key player, scoring two runs while going 2-for-3.

Northeast Bradford was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .440. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .371 or higher in three consecutive games.

Northeast Bradford's victory bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Sayre, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Northeast Bradford will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Blue Ridge at 10:00 a.m. on April 12. As for Sayre, they will take on Wellsboro at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. Sayre is facing Wellsboro at the right time seeing as Wellsboro is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
