Crescent City came into Saturday's match looking for another win against Clay, but Shiloh Marshall-Simmons wouldn't allow it. The Blue Devils walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Raiders on Saturday thanks in part to Marshall-Simmons, who had 13 digs and three assists. She has been hot, having posted 13 or more digs the last seven times she's played.

The win didn't come easy: Crescent City scored at least 20 points in every set. The final score came out to 25-20, 25-21.

The victory made it two in a row for Clay and bumps their season record up to 9-10. As for Crescent City, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-7.

Coincidentally, Clay and Crescent City will both be playing Newberry the next time they take the court. The Blue Devils will head out to face the Panthers at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Raiders will play them later in the day, at 11:00 a.m.
