Football Recap: Lake Arthur Tigers vs. Lafayette Christian Academy Knights
Lake Arthur was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were beaten by the Lafayette Christian Academy Knights 64-14. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Tigers of the 49-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2021.
Braylon Walker was his usual excellent self, throwing for 251 yards and three touchdowns while completing 80% of his passes, and also rushing for 60 yards and a touchdown for Lafayette Christian Academy. Jalen Noel was another key player, rushing for 69 yards and three touchdowns on only seven carries.
Lake Arthur's defeat dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Lafayette Christian Academy, their win bumped their record up to 4-6.
As of now, neither Lake Arthur nor Lafayette Christian Academy have any future games scheduled.
