Softball Recap: Green Level Comes Up Short

Green Level lost against Apex Friendship back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Gators lost 11-1 to the Patriots. The Gators' loss continues a trend for the squad, making it four in a row.

Green Level saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Esme Park, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI.

Green Level's defeat dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Apex Friendship, they pushed their record up to 10-2 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Green Level will host Panther Creek at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Catamounts have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 9.36 runs per game on average), something the Gators will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Apex Friendship, they will be playing at home against Middle Creek at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Mustangs will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something the Patriots surely won't give up without a fight.
