Volleyball Recap: Central Catholic Takes a Loss

Central Catholic was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 14th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Sierra Timberwolves. If the Raiders were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Timberwolves when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

The final score came out to 25-11, 25-9, 25-8.

Ronin Dragoo paced Central Catholic's offense, picking up two kills. Dragoo got some help from Walter Johnson and his four assists.

Central Catholic's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Sierra, they moved to 3-6 with that win, which also ended their four-game losing streak.

Central Catholic has already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Mountain House on the 11th. As for Sierra, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-1 victory against St. Mary's on the 13th.
