Volleyball Recap: Coleman Takes a Loss

Coleman was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Ashley Bears. The Comets were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bears apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

Coleman's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Ashley, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-7.

Looking ahead, Coleman will challenge Akron-Fairgrove at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday. Ashley will be paying especially close attention to the Comets' contest: after the Comets face off against the Vikings, they'll take on Ashley again at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday.
