Baseball Recap: Leeds Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

Leeds and Moody squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Leeds had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Blue Devils by a score of 8-6. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Greenwave have suffered since March 28th.

Graham Gulock was cooking despite his team's loss, going a perfect 3-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and two doubles. The team also got some help courtesy of Nash Jones, who went 2-for-4 with two doubles, one run, and one RBI.

Leeds' defeat dropped their record down to 22-12. As for Moody, the win got them back to even at 17-17.

While Leeds had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday.
