Softball Recap: Andrew Jackson Academy Comes Up Short

Andrew Jackson Academy was the 22-4 winner over Thomas Heyward Academy when they last played one another last Wednesday, but their luck changed this time around. The Andrew Jackson Academy Warriors came up short against the Thomas Heyward Academy Rebels on Tuesday, falling 16-10. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Mary Gray Hiers made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored three runs while going 4-for-4. She also put up two RBI, which were her first of the season. Another player making a difference was Ryleigh Trivette, who scored two runs while going 3-for-4.
