Eastern won the last time they faced Batavia and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Warriors walked away with a 62-53 victory over the Bulldogs. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Warriors.

Several Bulldogs players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Carson Harris, who posted 12 points in addition to five assists and five steals. Harris is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in each of the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Brett McKeon, who went 5-for-9 to rack up 13 points.

Eastern's win bumped their record up to 18-3. As for Batavia, with the defeat, they broke their eight-game winning streak and moved their record to 15-5.

Eastern has already played their next matchup, a 70-26 victory against Ripley-Union-Lewis-Huntington on the 19th. As for Batavia, they will head out on the road to face off against Georgetown at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
