Volleyball Recap: Bluffton Takes a Loss

It was a proper cat-fight when Bluffton challenged Pioneer on Saturday. The Tigers fell just short of the Panthers by a score of 2-1.

Bluffton's offense was headlined by Khloe Gehrett and Konley Ault, who picked up six kills apiece. They got some help from Kamryn Ault and her ten assists. Gehrett was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Bluffton's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Pioneer, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bluffton will head out to face off against Mississinewa at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Pioneer, they are packing up and heading out for their first away game of the season: they will square off against Argos at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Panthers are facing the Dragons at the right time seeing as the Dragons are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
