Volleyball Recap: Saranac Takes a Loss + How To Watch

If Saranac was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Northern Adirondack on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Spartans came up short against the Beekmantown Eagles on Thursday, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

The final score came out to 25-20, 25-18, 25-14.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Beekmantown to victory, but perhaps none more so than Sawyer Flemming, who had ten digs and two aces. Another player making a difference was Sophia Kenyon, who had ten digs, six kills, and one block.

Saranac has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-7 record this season. As for Beekmantown, the win was the 14th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 15-1.

Saranac wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-1 victory against Lake Placid on the 27th. As for Beekmantown, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Saranac Lake on the 27th.
