Basketball Recap: Marion Comes Up Short

Marion was the 31-28 winner over Lebanon when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Marion Scarlet Hurricanes fell just short of the Lebanon Pioneers by a score of 42-40 on Tuesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Scarlet Hurricanes have suffered since January 2nd.

Marion now has a losing record of 8-9. As for Lebanon, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a massive bump to their 6-14 record this season.

Marion wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 72-24 loss against Honaker on the 6th. As for Lebanon, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 46-29 win against Richlands on the 5th.
